We're playing 'fast and loose' with calling this a curry, but it fits in the definition of a curry being a sauce or gravy served with meat or veg! Regardless, this is the fastest sauce you'll every make, and it's surprisingly delicious.

I made this up one day when my toddler was strongly requesting 'chicken curry with rice' for lunch. I already had some leftover rice and chicken, but no sauce. Hence the Veg Block curry style sauce was made š. Now I eat this too when I want to jazz up my leftover meat and rice.
You can use this curry sauce for any protein (chicken, fish, beef, tofu, etc.), and serve with rice or couscous. And the beauty of this curry sauce is that you can't taste the veg at all, and the Veg Block acts as a bulking base for the sauce.

Ingredients
-
1 Orange Veg Block (or any of your choice), defrosted
-
1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce
-
1/2 teaspoon of pure sesame oil
-
Leftover chicken (or other protein)
-
Leftover rice or couscous
Directions
Microwave the Veg Block for 30-60 seconds, until fully defrosted and warm.
Add the soy sauce and sesame oil and stir through.
Microwave your leftover meat and rice.
Mix the sauce through the meat and rice, and serve!
Recipe Note
This convenience of this recipe works best when you have rice or meat leftover. However, you can still cook up a small amount of meat and rice or couscous to use the sauce.
